For a relaxing Saturday or Sunday outing, consider visiting any of the wonderful Farmers Markets in Panama City or Panama City Beach. These outside events are really enjoyable and you can pick up some pretty great stuff, from flowers to crafts to fresh fruits and vegetables. A lot of the vendors produce hand-made products and works of art that never cease to impress me. I love seeing the talents in people!

Panama City Farmers Markets have been weekly events for years and there are always good-sized crowds walking the streets in search of treasures and fresh produce each weekend. Being near the water makes the experience even better, in my opinion.

At the markets you have the opportunity to rub elbows with some of the local growers and farmers in the particular area you're visiting. It's pretty cool when you can actually talk to these vendors and find out a little about their lives, some stories, and why they do what they do. These markets definitely personify that Southern hospitality I'm always talking about and give me a small, home-town feel.

If you're the chef for your family or the chef for a fancy restaurant, you'll discover fresh, organically-grown fruits and vegetables that are pesticide-free and oh-so yummy for your tummy. The back end of trucks, folding tables, booths, and tents are all at your disposal, touting some of the best foods you will get.

Along with your purchase, the owners are often glad to offer some of their best ways to prepare your foods and some tasty recipes to use them in. The freshest seafood and grass-fed, antibiotic-free chicken, beef, pork and lamb is also a staple of the Panama City Farmers Markets.

Gorgeous bouquets of flowers, arrangements, and gifts welcome you to come by and take a look. People who take great pride in producing their specialty arts and crafts display their goods for all to see. You're sure to find some unique and homey things to adorn your home with and make it a place where guests really enjoy coming to visit, if not just to see what wonderful treasures you've found next.

Any of the Farmers Markets In Panama City are a pleasant places to spend a quiet morning or afternoon, whether to just enjoy your own company or with your family. Grab a cup of fresh roasted coffee, take the hand of the one(s) you love, and enjoy perusing all the incredible and tasty things you'll find at one of the local farmers' markets. Have a terrific time and maybe I'll see you there. I frequent them all, off and on, to collect content, talk with the vendors, and shoot photos and video. ;)
