Resorts in Panama City Beach can be a lot of things, but in a nutshell, they are like self-contained cities, offering the best of everything: accommodations, entertainment, swimming pools, food venues, shops, and activities. As you can tell already, resort hotels are typically larger than traditional hotels and offer a lot of additional amenities. When it's beach-side or beachfront, it takes it all up a wonderful notch or two.

As a side note, the main reason I'm focusing on resorts in Panama City Beach rather than any in Panama City is because the majority of resorts here that are most attractive to vacationers like you are those that are beach front and have amazing views of the Gulf Of Mexico. PCB is the only one that offers that. I love you, Panama City, but that's something you just can't offer. 😉

If, for some reason, you don't want to venture outside the resort you're staying at, there should be no reason you should have to. You should have everything at your beach-loving fingertips. Of course, that sort of luxury comes at a cost, so make sure you've considered the cost of something more extravagant before you start your vacation. As a penny-pincher, I had to throw that in. 💸

Personally, I enjoy getting out and seeing everything when I'm on vacation (As if I'm not ALWAYS on vacation living here!), but I can understand wanting the chance to get away from everything and just pamper you, yourself, and you. As an Introvert, I get it.
